thoughts, come and go

light, bright and yellow

beds, sunken pillows

Summer
memories, Winter rain
Wrinkled
mirror, wringing pain
Creaky
doors, stained windows
Starving
nights, devouring shadows
Eternal
wait, living endless lives
Stabbing
stakes, cutting knives
Salvation
was once my only dream
In your
hazel eyes, I saw it gleam
Blooming
grasses, blueberries ripe,
Glowing
sun, a wonderful life
Can it be
easier to forget?
Longing
for things we can never get
Exiled
existence, sheltering curse
Soulless

Standing toes,
